Independent Confidential Support Person Services

For employees who find themselves in situations where a support person is needed, but do not have access to personal support—or prefer not to involve family or friends—this service provides a professional, independent alternative.

Aligned with Fair Work Ombudsman expectations and workplace relations requirements, we offer impartial, confidential support to ensure employees feel supported and able to participate fully in workplace processes.

Our role is not to advocate or speak on behalf of the employee, but to provide a steady, professional presence that supports understanding, emotional regulation, and clarity throughout the process.

Support may include:

  • Attending workplace meetings as a support person

  • Assisting with note-taking or dictation

  • Helping employees process information before and after meetings

  • Supporting individuals to feel prepared and grounded during difficult conversations

  • Providing a confidential and neutral presence in sensitive situations

This service is particularly valuable during formal meetings, performance discussions, investigations, or any situation where an employee may feel vulnerable, overwhelmed, or unsure how to navigate the process alone.

This is a confidential service for employees only. Information shared cannot be reported back to employers.
